Update: USS CONSTELLATION and CORBIN FOSS are still holding to off Antofagasta, Chile for weather and final orders from Navy Team to make sure repairs are holding before departure of Connie for Valparaiso.

She had a port list and needed to have repairs made.

Only pics I have seen were her Bremerton departure…, any New pics of her voyage? I am planning to be in Brownsville for her arrival approx Jan 2015. Is that still the planned ETA. Thank you.

Rough ETA for Brownsville is still looking like the very end of December
or the first part of January.

Did the Navy Salvage Team find anything serious? How did they get there?

The Navy Salvage Team found a couple of problems. The team flew in to Antofagasto, Chile and were taken out to the Connie to do repairs via launch.
The Corbin Foss and the Connie were given permission to depart by Navy on 10/11/14.

Why no updates for four days, is everything ok with the ship? Are there still concerns with her taking on water?

The ship departed from safe harbor on 10/11/2014 for fuel stop at Valparaiso, Chile after the Navy Team completed repairs.
