UPDATES ON COVID-19
We are mindful of the growing concerns surrounding the Coronavirus(COVID-19) in the US and around the globe.Priding ourselves on being “Always Safe Always Ready”, we want to assure you that the well-being of our employees and their families and continuing service to our customers remain our top priorities. We are actively monitoring the situation and will continue to implement precautionary measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), American Waterways Operators (AWO), Chamber of Shipping of America (CSA) and the US Coast Guard, along with guidance from federal, state and local agencies.
Currently, we remain fully operational in each of our work locations and there have been no service disruptions to date. As always, Foss Maritime is focused on your business and your success, and we are committed to and honored to be part of that supply chain. We have trained all staff in social distancing, proper hygiene protocols, and how to disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, and we have contracted with sanitation companies to disinfect offices and vessels as warranted. We have sourced additional Personal Protective Equipment. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 to our employees, customers and communities in which we work and live.
We are engaging our business continuation strategies to best support our customers in these volatile times. We will advise of any impact on harbor or marine transportation services as we continue to work diligently to meet our commitments. The COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving, and we will be adopting new safety protocols as the situation warrants. The latest developments will be posted on this page as they become available. For any concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to your local representative or email us at [email protected].
